Situated on 100 acres of land, Desaru Fruit Farm offers visitors a fun time learning about the country’s tropical fruits. Desaru Ostrich Farm has more than 100 of ostriches. In the farm, visitors have the opportunity to get close and personal with the ostriches. This is indeed one interesting activity. Things to do in Desaru (6/6) - Tanjung Balau Fishermen Museum
Tanjung Balau Fisherman Museum, also known as Muzium Nelayan, is a spacious museum on the beachfront at Tanjung Balau in Kota Tinggi Dear Desaru.
The construction was begin at 1990 and it had completed in 1992, opened near the site of a former fishing village.
There are several exhibits include actual fishing boats an nets, boat models, dioramas, posters, historical films etc.
The museum is divided into a number of galleries, which were:
1. Fisherman’s Gallery, take a peak into the traditional life of fisherman, such as the superstitions they believed to ensure a safe trip, the types of boats and rafts they used, fishing equipment such as nets, tackle and tools.
